Sheikh Mansour Deported – a tragic loss to Australia
Posted by Father Dave under Media Coverage[7] Comments
On Saturday June 26th we had a formal farewell at the Imam Husain Islamic Centre. More than 1000 people crammed in – people of all faiths and cultures from across the region. On Sunday morning Mansour joined us at Holy Trinity Church to farewell his many supporters there. That evening, despite Sheikh’s attempts to dissuade us from coming to the airport, more than 300 of us showed up to make our final farewells.
It was an emotional time. Indeed, I find it hard to watch the video coverage below without the tears welling up again.
The story was also covered briefly on Ten News. You can see that here.
The fight does not end here. The Australian Government has until Ocotber 21st to respond to the United Nations Human Rights Committee and explain why they charged, judged and executed Sheikh Mansour without ever telling him what he’d done wrong.
If you have any ideas as to how we can put pressure on the Australian government to respond to the United Nations, submit them to the Fighting Fathers Forum (nb. you’ll need to use VIP code ‘NO HOMERS’ to register).

I was there at the airport too. I was glad that I was able to get the chance to speak with Sheikh. I told him that there are no goodbyes for me to tell him, because I know that through God’s will, he will be back soon. The truth always comes out, it may take some time, but yes I am positive that it will come out. I still cry everyday, but I want to turn these tears into triumphs by all of us getting all together! The fight has just begun, let’s all post our ideas on Father Dave’s forum! 🙂

our dear sheikh and the family, do not drop a tear we are all around you. keep your trust in god, there should be good reason for all of that.good people have good trials, to have good rewards.
we are sure that justice will win and we will celebrate our victory by your leggaly proved innocence. for us we do not need any proof, and the gov did only harm its image to have you deported unfairly.
I prepared a letter to Julia as first step. I imagine that too many messages could have an effect.
also I will join father’s forum, to look for the solutions with our friends.
thanks to all who support sheikh in this battle
blessing to all

My dear friends
This is the first time since I left Australia that I get a chance to access the net. In fact even now I’m nursing my mom and dad in a hospital in Esfahan in different wards.
I can never thank God enough for blessing me to get to know and spend the best period of my life with the best friends I’ve ever had in Australia.
May the Almighty God bless all of you and reward you for your stance on justice, and may we witness a global justice with the Return of al-Mahdi and Christ.
Amen.

Dear Sheikh Mansour,
May Allah bless your parents with health and His special mercy.
AND I wish you a very happy return, to Australia of course, either with or before the much awaited return of al-Mahdi and Jesus Christ.

Dear Sheihk Mansour
May God shower you and your parents with his Good Grace and Mercy. InshAllah they both recover soon.
We have missed you greatly and words cannot describe the pain we felt when we saw you depart but rest assured your good work has become even greater. You have especially now made us realise how we need to proactively struggle for what is right . We will continue to fight for justice.

Dearest Sheikh Mansour
We miss you so much.
We wish your parents a quick recovery Inshallah.
We’re still going to the Centre in your temporary absence.
I, Heba, say Goodbye now for I wasn’t able to say it at the airport. Please say Salam to Fatima and Mrs Leghaei for me too.
We’ve been listening recently to this song daily. It’s “halal” don’t worry. Please have a listen at least once. Here’s the link;
